Likewise the preceeding years ,in 2011-12 on 5th June, World's Environment was celebrated by organizing a meeting at Boritika L.P school.. Majuli. The programme was inaugurated by the Head Master of the school. by planting a fruit plant in the campus . In the meeting the villager were participated encouraginly and the children of the school were invoved in plantation drive. In the programme the officials from forest department, majuli and other invited guests were delivered -their lectures on the specific issue of world environment day.
